AlphaSights Information Session

Girls Who Invest Applications are OPEN

Girls Who Invest is excited to welcome applications for our Summer Intensive and Online Intensive programs as we celebrate ten years of bringing gender diversity to the investment management industry. Learn more about us and our programs below!

Why Girls Who Invest? Diverse group of Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Scholars enjoying a moment on campus at The Wharton School. We offer free education on fundamental finance and investing concepts, opportunities for paid internships with leading investment firms, mentorship from industry professionals with years of experience, a supportive community by your side as you start your career and beyond, ongoing professional development and career advancement resources for Alumni of all GWI programs.

What programs are available? Summer Intensive Program: Interactive virtual curriculum during the spring, followed by four weeks of tuition-free academic instruction from leading professors and a seven-week paid internship with one of 120+ partner investment firms. (Open to college sophomores); Online Intensive Program: A free, self-guided educational experience that offers the opportunity to learn from key organizations in finance education, including CFA Institute, Wall Street Prep, Project Destined, and Wharton Online. (Open to college first-years and sophomores)

Who is eligible? All majors are welcome - no finance experience is necessary! Applicants to the Summer Intensive Program must be studying at a four-year, accredited U.S. or U.S.-style college or university and expected to graduate between fall 2026 and spring 2027. For the Online Intensive Program, applicants must be graduating between fall 2026 and spring 2028.

When is the deadline to apply? Early Deadline: Thursday, September 5, 2024; Regular Deadline: Tuesday, October 15, 2024

Investment Banking Association Info Session

The Investment Banking Association (IBA) will be hosting its first information session on Tuesday, September 10th, at 7:00 pm in Fulton 511. This session will cover what is investment banking, the landscape of the industry, what an investment banker does, the 2024-2025 plan for the club, and networking best practices. All grade levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge of finance or investment banking is needed!
