We hope you had an awesome break! As we head into the final stretch of the semester, we would all like to ease back into the academic rhythm before finals begin. BCEA is here to help!

Study Break!

Tomorrow (11/28) from 7:00–8:00 P.M. in Stoke S115, BCEA will be hosting a Study Break where we encourage students to take some time off to come together, enjoy some pizza and good company, and talk with other economic students!

Holiday Econ Cafe

Join us on Wednesday, November 29th, from 2:00–4:00 P.M. in the Economics Department Lobby (Maloney Hall 3rd Floor) for our Holiday Econ Cafe. Feel free to drop by to chat with professors and students. Coffee and desserts will be provided.

Abroad Opportunity

The LaunchPad Institute: Ireland is a student-run initiative that aims to provide an academic grounding in business and build on that foundation with in-depth training modules focused on real-world skills like executive email etiquette, building PowerPoint slides and creating Excel models.

Centered on a week-long trek to Ireland, students will engage in case studies and receive personalized career coaching while attending company visits.  To reinforce the learning from the training modules and the trek, students will be placed in 6-week professional experiences - designed like internships - focused on a wide range of topics such as strategy, biotech, asset management, and cryptocurrency.

This is an opportunity to build the skills you need to successfully launch into the first years of your professional career.  Although this program is open to all students, this program is targeted towards first years and sophomores.
