• The Expanding Diversity in Economics Summer Institute (EDE) is accepting applications for its 2024 program now! EDE is a University of Chicago program hosted by the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics (BFI) and the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at Brookings, designed to identify and support talented undergraduate students from a broad range of backgrounds interested in the study of economics. Applications for the 2024 cohort are due by Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:58 PM CT. Apply here.

• Piper Sandler recently opened their applications for the tenth annual Career Exploration Program. They are looking to host second-year students in February 2024 in NYC for a two-day program that serves as a pipeline for our 2025 summer internships. As a participant in the program, you’ll hear directly from their junior employees, interact with the firm's senior leadership, engage in group discussions and activities with outside consultants, and network with peers from around the country.
