BCEA Mentorship Program

Are you a freshman or sophomore in search of guidance on the best economics courses to take, resume development and career paths to explore? Are you a junior or senior interested in offering advice on how to proceed as an economics student? Fill out the respective mentorship interest forms for mentors and mentees to join the BCEA mentorship program! The program matches freshmen and sophomores with junior and senior leaders offering their guidance and support to underclassmen. The program is a great way to get involved in BCEA and connect with other economics students! Fill out the form by October 10th to join the program.

Equiteq Recruiting Event

The global investment bank Equiteq will be hosting an information session on Monday, September 29th from 6:30-7:30 pm in Gasson 207. Students interested in learning more about investment banking and M&A are encouraged to attend. Please RSVP via Handshake.

RBC Recruiting Event

RBC Capital Markets will be on campus on October 2nd from 6-7:15 pm for a firm-wide presentation about who RBC is and what they do in the Heights Room, followed by a post-event networking session at Lulu’s in Allston. Students seeking internship opportunities during the Summer of 2027 are highly encouraged to attend. Please RSVP via Handshake.  

Cato University Student Event

Cato University is the Cato Institute’s educational conference series for college and graduate students. The event will take place on October 18 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at the Harvard Faculty Club (20 Quincy St., Cambridge, MA). This day-long seminar will challenge students to examine international trade and foreign policy through the lens of classical liberalism. Speakers will include Cato’s Jeff Miron, Dartmouth’s Doug Irwin, and author Johan Norberg who will discuss his new book Peak Human. 

Goldman Sachs Information Session and Coffee Chats

Goldman Sachs has scheduled their Fall 2025 BC visit for October 22nd & 23rd. They will be hosting a Goldman Sachs Overview session on October 22nd open to all sophomore students and Coffee Chats throughout the day on October 23rd. Applications have now opened for the Coffee Chats, and selected students will have the chance to network with 1-2 Goldman Sachs professionals during a 20-minute session. Both events have been posted on BC’s Handshake page!

  • MassMutual: MassMutual is currently accepting applications for their iMMerse program. The iMMerse program is a two-year, full-time, rotational program based out of MassMutual’s Boston office, open to graduating seniors interested in building a strong foundation across three interrelated disciplines (Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, and Strategic Intelligence) with flexibility to pursue a range of compelling future leadership opportunities.   • PIMCO: PIMCO’s 2026 summer internship program is open for applications (reviewed on a rolling basis). They offer a broad array of internship programs (portfolio management/trading, finance & accounting, legal & compliance, private strategies, business development, product strategy, account management etc.) Review the links attached below to apply!

  • Capital Fellows Program: Applications to the Capital Fellows Program are open! The Capital Fellows Programs are nationally recognized public policy fellowships which offer unique experiences in policy-making and development in each branch of California's state government. During the year-long programs, Capital Fellows operate as full-time paid employees working in a Legislative, Executive or Judicial Branch office for 10-11 months. Applications for the Capital Fellows Programs will open on September 2, 2025, and close on December 8, 2025, at 11:59PM (PST). Apply here!

  • Credit Agricole CIB: Credit Agricole is hiring for a variety of positions in their New York City office including Equity Capital Market and Merger & Acquisitions roles. Applications can be submitted via Handshake. Below are some specific roles they are recruiting for:

  • Credit Agricole CIB: CACIB is hiring for their 10-week summer internship position in their Houston office. Applications can be submitted via Handshake. Some highlights of the internship include:

    • One-week structured training in New York City to start the program.

    • Hands-on project work with direct exposure to business teams.

    • A structured mentor program to provide ongoing guidance.

    • Networking opportunities across divisions and with peers through planned events.

    • Potential for a return offer at the conclusion of the summer.

    Representatives from the firm will be on campus hosting coffee chats on October 6th. Students interested in learning more about CACIB, especially Juniors looking for Summer 2026 roles, are encouraged to apply via Handsake.

  • Synchrony: Synchrony looks forward to having students join us in revolutionizing the future of payments and banking. We are recognized as one of the nation’s consumer financial services companies awarded a premier spot on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list. We welcome sophomores to apply for our Business Leadership Program (BLP) Spring 2026 externship and juniors to apply for our Summer 2026 internship.

    • Our externship is a 4-day program in May with travel expenses paid to Stamford, CT.  Externs focus on skill-building and networking, a case study, community service and get the opportunity to interview for an internship position.

    • Our internship is a paid, 10-week experience with fully furnished, paid housing in Stamford, CT about one hour north of NYC. In addition to working on meaningful assignments under a dedicated leader, interns participate in social activities, networking, community service, and they engage with senior leaders. Select interns are invited to join Synchrony full time after graduation.

  •  FTC: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is now accepting applications for Statisticians in the Bureau of Economics. This is a great opportunity for seniors and Masters students with coursework in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science. In this role, you will gain real-world experience by working alongside PhD economists to protect consumers and promote competition in the US economy.
