Happy November, Eagles! We have a lot of exciting events this week including our first Mentorship event and a Deloitte Panelist event. Looking forward to a great week!

BCEA and AMA x Deloitte Event

Mark your calendars, BCEA will be hosting an information session with Deloitte featuring representatives from Deloitte’s Boston office on Wednesday, November 5th from 7:00-8:00 pm in Higgins Room 265. Come learn more about Deloitte and the opportunities at the firm. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks.

BCEA Mentorship Event

Our first BCEA mentorship event will be tonight Monday, November 3rd from 7:30-8:30 pm in Thomas More Apartments Commons Room 109. Come by to meet you mentor/mentee group and enjoy some pizza as you get to know each other and connect with other economics students!

BCEA Course Advising

We will be hosting course advising drop in hours next week. Stop by Fulton 240 on Wednesday, November 12th between 9-11:30 am and 5-7 pm or Friday, November 14th between 10-2 pm to learn about courses in the Economics deparement that would be a good fit for you and get advice on building your schedule!

Endeavor is a free three-day career exploration program over the last three days of winter break that will empower you to take control of your journey. If you’re a sophomore or junior wondering how your skills, interests, and values connect to a career, Endeavor is for YOU. This isn't just a program; it's a launchpad for your future and a chance to build a supportive community. Guided by fellow students, BC alumni, career coaches, and industry leaders who’ve been where you are, you will translate your coursework into in-demand skills, explore new career fields you may have never considered and leave with a concrete plan to turn your vision into action. We are offering $250 mini-scholarships to students with high financial need in order to offset the lost wages from days not working while attending the program.

  • MassMutual: MassMutual is currently accepting applications for their iMMerse program. The iMMerse program is a two-year, full-time, rotational program based out of MassMutual’s Boston office, open to graduating seniors interested in building a strong foundation across three interrelated disciplines (Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, and Strategic Intelligence) with flexibility to pursue a range of compelling future leadership opportunities.   • PIMCO: PIMCO’s 2026 summer internship program is open for applications (reviewed on a rolling basis). They offer a broad array of internship programs (portfolio management/trading, finance & accounting, legal & compliance, private strategies, business development, product strategy, account management etc.) Review the links attached below to apply!

  • Capital Fellows Program: Applications to the Capital Fellows Program are open! The Capital Fellows Programs are nationally recognized public policy fellowships which offer unique experiences in policy-making and development in each branch of California's state government. During the year-long programs, Capital Fellows operate as full-time paid employees working in a Legislative, Executive or Judicial Branch office for 10-11 months. Applications for the Capital Fellows Programs will open on September 2, 2025, and close on December 8, 2025, at 11:59PM (PST). Apply here!

  • Credit Agricole CIB: CACIB is hiring for their 10-week summer internship position in their Houston office. Applications can be submitted via Handshake. Some highlights of the internship include:

    • One-week structured training in New York City to start the program.

    • Hands-on project work with direct exposure to business teams.

    • A structured mentor program to provide ongoing guidance.

    • Networking opportunities across divisions and with peers through planned events.

    • Potential for a return offer at the conclusion of the summer.

    Representatives from the firm will be on campus hosting coffee chats on October 6th. Students interested in learning more about CACIB, especially Juniors looking for Summer 2026 roles, are encouraged to apply via Handsake.

  • Aon: Applications for Aon’s Actuarial Career Discovery Program are now open. Aon’s Career Discovery Program offers college sophomores a semester long virtual experience exploring why Aon is the industry’s leading employer of actuaries in Health, Reinsurance, Risk and Wealth businesses. Students are paired with a mentor at Aon and will get to network with other students and Aon colleagues, while learning about the actuarial profession and what we do at Aon.   • William Blair: William Blair is kicking off their 2027 Summer Analyst recruiting season!
