BCEA Mid-November Updates

We hope course registration was a success this past week! Check out some great opportunities below as we move into the final weeks of the semester. We have a mentorship opportunity event TONIGHT, and our final Econ Cafe is right around the corner!

State Department Mentoring Event

Interested in an internship or job with the U.S. Department of State? Tonight, Thursday, November 16th, from 7:00–8:00 P.M., members of the State Department will be sharing their career experiences with such an important institution. Nine State Department employees—BC alums—have volunteered to talk about their careers and mentor students who would like to apply for internships and/or work for the Department of State. After a welcome by Tony Fernandes, Assistant Secretary of State for Trade and Negotiations, students will be able to go into breakout rooms to talk to as many officials as they like.

Holiday Econ Cafe

Join us on Wednesday, November 29th, from 2:00–4:00 P.M. in the Economics Department Lobby (Maloney Hall 3rd Floor) for our Holiday Econ Cafe. Feel free to drop by to chat with professors and students. Coffee and desserts will be provided.
