BCEA Course Advising is TOMORROW!

Course Registration is NEXT WEEK! Come drop in during office hours on Thursday, April 4th, AND Friday, April 5th, from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. in McGuinn Hall 526 to get advice from upperclassman economics majors. Whether you’re unsure about your course selection or seeking guidance on which professors may be a good fit for you, our BCEA peer advisors are here to help!

BCEA Professor Panel Event!

Join us on Wednesday, April 10th, from 7:00–8:00 P.M. in Stokes South 109 for our Professor Panel Event! Hear from a variety of professors on their fields of study, career journies, and get advice and insights on how to succeed in economics both at BC and beyond. All are welcome!

BCEA Law Panel

On Monday, April 8th, at 7:00 P.M. in Schiller 230, BCEA is hosting a Law Panel featuring Professor Felter who currently teaches an applied law and economics course along with alumni that are pursuing their law degree in the Boston area. Panelists will offer both undergraduate pre-law insights as well as career tips from their experience in the field.

Eagletarian Submissions are STILL OPEN!

We would like to invite you all to submit your work to The Eagletarian. The Eagletarian is the BC Economics Association’s very own research journal, and accepts all economics-related research from undergraduates. The papers that you submit can be ones written independently or for class on any economics-related topic that interests you. Submitting your work to The Eagletarian is a great opportunity to have your ideas published and be seen throughout the Economics department and beyond! The guidelines for submitting a paper are listed below.

Career Opportunites

  • Charles River Associates (CRA) is now accepting applications for the second cycle of the CRA All-Access Scholarship, a talent development pipeline program that seeks to financially support students pursuing degrees in Business, Economics or STEM. Through this program, CRA will award $5,000 to 12 deserving students for their junior year at an accredited institution. The All-Access Scholarship is open to female students and students from underrepresented communities and/or socioeconomically-challenging backgrounds. Ideal candidates have demonstrated leadership and community service, a financial need and a commitment to inclusion and empowerment. The deadline to apply for the 2024-25 All-Access Scholarship is April 22, 2024. Click here to apply!

Gain valuable internship experience with local companies in fields like Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Data Science, UX & UI Design, or Software Engineering.   • The Houlihan Lokey Boston Technology team is seeking a highly motivated current Sophomore student to fill the 2025 Summer Analyst class. Houlihan Lokey, Inc.
