BCEA Course Advising is Back!

Come drop by during office hours on Thursday, April 4th, and Friday, April 5th, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to get advice from upperclassman econ majors. Whether you’re unsure about your course selection or seeking guidance on which professors may be a good fit for you, our BCEA peer advisors are happy to help!

Reminder that Eagletarian Submissions are Still OPEN!

We would like to invite you all to submit your work to The Eagletarian. The Eagletarian is the BC Economics Association’s very own research journal, and accepts all economics-related research from undergraduates. The papers that you submit can be ones written independently or for class on any economics-related topic that interests you. Submitting your work to The Eagletarian is a great opportunity to have your ideas published and be seen throughout the Economics department and beyond! The guidelines for submitting a paper are listed below.

• Paper should have a minimum length of 1,500 words

• Paper should be in .doc or .docx format

• Submission Title should be formatted as follows: Title_Last Name

• Charles River Associates (CRA) is now accepting applications for the second cycle of the CRA All-Access Scholarship, a talent development pipeline program that seeks to financially support students pursuing degrees in Business, Economics or STEM. Through this program, CRA will award $5,000 to 12 deserving students for their junior year at an accredited institution. The All-Access Scholarship is open to female students and students from underrepresented communities and/or socioeconomically-challenging backgrounds. Ideal candidates have demonstrated leadership and community service, a financial need and a commitment to inclusion and empowerment.
